A) WHEN VISITING THE WEBSITE, COOKIES

Cookies are only used on this website to ensure the technical functionality of the website, e.g. through the plugin for registering for our newsletter. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the computer of visitors to our website so that they can be assigned between page views. The legal basis is Art. 6 p. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).

Beyond this, no personal data is processed when you visit our website. No tracking cookies are used on this website.

B) WHEN REGISTERING FOR OUR NEWSLETTER

If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we will use your email address to send you our newsletter on a regular basis. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR (consent).

You can unsubscribe at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you can also send your unsubscribe request to hallo@kreisler.berlin by email at any time. Your e-mail address will then be deleted.

C) WHEN USING OUR CONTACT FORM OR CONTACT VIA E-MAIL

For questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website or to send us an e-mail. It is necessary to provide a valid e-mail address so that we know who sent the request and can answer it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR (consent). The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be stored until revoked.

D) WHEN SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

The information (name, date of birth, address, email address, bank details) is required for admission and will be stored until the membership ends or until the statutory retention periods expire. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (fulfillment of contract).

If you have ticked the box indicating that you wish to receive the newsletter, the newsletter will be sent to you on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent). You can revoke your consent at any time by post or email. Your e-mail address will then continue to be processed to fulfill the contract.

E) EVENT PHOTOS

We publish photos on this website and on our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) of events that we have organized ourselves or in which we have participated. The photos serve as documentation to present the association's activities to the public.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest is derived from the objectives set out in our Articles of Association. Processing is carried out for an indefinite period.

F) WHEN VISITING OUR OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES

Kreisler e.V. operates various social media pages. The operators of the social media pages are each another controller who carries out data processing, over which we have only limited influence.

The data you enter on our social media pages, such as comments, videos, images, likes, public messages, etc., are published by the social media pages and are not used or processed by us for any other purpose at any time. We only reserve the right to delete content if this should be necessary. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). Data processing is carried out in the interest of our public relations and communication.

If you wish to object to certain data processing over which we have an influence, please contact us using the contact details above. We will then check the objection or, if necessary, forward it to the operators of the social media site in question.

Social media sites may use web tracking methods. Web tracking can also take place regardless of whether you are logged in or registered with the social media site. Unfortunately, we cannot influence the web tracking methods of the social media site. For example, we cannot switch this off. It cannot be ruled out that social media sites may use your profile and behavioral data, for example to evaluate your habits, personal relationships, preferences, etc.

Data processed by us may be processed by processors within the meaning of the GDPR. These are our web space provider, our online storage and our online communication tool. The data may be transferred to a third country if the European Commission has confirmed an adequate level of data protection by means of an adequacy decision (safe third country).

Otherwise, we will only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR,
the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data,
in the event that there is a legal obligation for disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR,
this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.

 

4. rights of data subjects

You have the right:

to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;
in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us;
in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;
in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have lodged an objection to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive the personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller;
in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR, to revoke your consent once given to us at any time. The consequence of this is that we may no longer continue the data processing that was based on this consent in the future and
to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or workplace or at our registered office.
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us without specifying a particular situation.
